UNVÅL Enters the Industrial Hard Techno Arena with “Microphone Killer”
There’s a new name pushing into the darker, heavier edges of the electronic music spectrum—UNVÅL. The project, spearheaded by Dutch producers Andor van Reeven and Remy de Groot, marks a deliberate shift into the uncompromising world of industrial hard techno.
Known for their background in harder electronic styles, the duo is now channeling that experience into something more raw, more mechanical, and more relentless. UNVÅL isn’t just a side project—it’s a statement. A sonic exploration of distortion, pressure, and controlled chaos, designed for late-night warehouses and unforgiving sound systems.
Their debut single, “Microphone Killer,” set for release on April 2, gives a first glimpse into that vision. The track lives up to its name: aggressive percussion, pounding low-end, and sharp, industrial textures dominate the soundscape. It’s built to hit hard and leave a mark—less about melody, more about impact.
What sets UNVÅL apart is the balance between precision and brutality. While the track leans heavily into distortion and intensity, it never loses structure. There’s intent behind every kick, every metallic hit, every break in the noise. It’s not chaos for the sake of chaos—it’s engineered pressure.
With the growing global appetite for harder, faster, and darker techno, UNVÅL arrives at the right moment. “Microphone Killer” feels less like a debut and more like an opening shot—clear in direction, confident in execution, and unapologetically heavy.
If this release is any indication, UNVÅL is not here to ease listeners in. It’s here to push boundaries, test limits, and carve out space in the industrial underground—one crushing track at a time.
Meet the team behind your release-ready tracks
Andor van Reeven
With 26 years in the music industry, Andor is the driving force behind the sound. From the first spark of a melody to the final polished master, he handles composition, arrangements, music production, mixing and mastering.
Over the years, Andor has developed a sharp instinct for what makes a track work — not just technically, but emotionally. Every decision in the production process is deliberate: the tension in the arrangement, the weight of the kick, the clarity of the mix.
He has contributed as a mastering engineer to releases that have reached platinum-level streaming milestones in the Netherlands.
The goal is simple: a release-ready track that sounds competitive anywhere it’s played.
Yolanda Bertez
Great Music needs words and voice that make people feel something. Thats’s where Yolanda comes in.
Yolanda writes lyrics that give a track identity and story, record demo vocals, and in many cases delivers the final vocal performance as well. Het ability to translate an idea or mood into lurics and melody helps transform a production into a song listeners remember.
Together, Andor and Yolanda combine technical precision with storytelling – a collaboration focused on one thing:
Turning ideas into tracks that are ready to stand alonside professional releases.
